No other team can hold the opponent to 20 points in the first half!
Also, WVU went 10 minutes before turning the ball over FOR THE FIRST TIME.
Working the ball inside much better on offense, too.
This looks more like Texas Tech game than Kansas State game.
Now, when Huggins Heroes come out of the locker room, keep up their intense, intimidating, smart defense (no ticky-tack fouls), keep dominating the rebounding and make the free throws!

I know the game is going great, but there have been some blatant misses. Multiple times it was obvious the ball was out of bounds on one team and the refs completely get the wrong call. 3 blind mice indeed.
He's also scoring and not going to the bench. No sign of Knapper and a very brief appearance from McBride. I think Huggins wants to play McCabe but needs some offensive production out of the position.
We cant be winning without McBride scoring all of our points and winning the game BY HIMSELF. lmao. For f**k's sake man, no one is saying these things about McBride. We are just saying the guy is not utter garbage and has played at least as well if not better than our other options on the team. You on the other hand act as though he has less business in the game than anyone but Macke, and even then the way you post makes me question that. He is not perfect. Still drives into poor situations at times. Still forces shots when a good defender has him covered. Still not strong at distributing the ball for assists. But you act like that is ALL he is and completely ignore the good he does.

McBride is our best guard imo and has a BRIGHT future here. He’s saved us out of some offensive funks when teams pack it in against our bigs. He’s also a very good defender. Reminds of Dax miles but he’s better now then miles was as a frosh.
ummm Virginia is a team that’s known for their defense and holding opponents to under 20 in each half.
Even crazier that Deuce is a very talented freshman with crazy good potential to be an absolute stud in a few years when he’s a junior. He absolutely hustles, plays good defense, can attack the rim, and is solid shooter. To hate on him is absolutely baffling.
Count me as a McBride supporter. It was great to see Matthews back on track, to see McCabe get some offensive production, to see Osabuohien develop some offense and to get Macke a score. Great games also from Haley, Culver and Tshiebwe as well. Plus a blow out. Nothing here not to like. Loved seeing McBride take it to the rim. If he stays 4 years he is going to be a stud. Can you imagine what kind of game Tshiebwe would have if he stayed 4 years? Really liking this team and how Huggins gets them all some PT.
