Baylor is very beatable. This should be a handy win, but who knows what will transpire. If we play sound football, we should win. If we drop balls, miss blocks and miss tackles, we will have a hard time winning. Baylor is not as good as they were expected to be though and this should be a solid W.

Baylor QB has the quickest release of any QB in Big 12. Baylor leading receiver is their TE who is exceptional. Last time we played a team with a great TE (Texas Tech 2012) we got our butts whipped, badly. Baylor WR also drop a lot of passes. Baylor and WVU are #1 and #2 in that category.

The 2 have a lot of stats that are close and very similar. Including wins over weak opponents.

Baylor 2 of 3 wins are against bad teams.
W Albany 1-4
L @BYU 4-2
W Texas State 3-3
W @ISU 3-3 (0-3)
L #9Oklahoma State 5-0 (2-0)

WVU 2 wins against bad opponents
L @Pitt 4-2
L Kansas 5-1 (2-1)
W Towson 2-4
W Va.Tech 2-4
L Texas 4-2 (2-1)

Marshall beat a bad ND team. What have they done since? Lucky for them they Gardner Web on the schedule to keep it from being 4 straight losses.

0-2 in Sun Belt and haven't even played the top teams yet.

Don't worry little brother we know how you feel.

The Herd is God awful. How in the world they basically dominated Notre Dame is beyond the minds of many reasonable people. I don't even think ND is all that bad, as they seem to be playing okay now days. Something internal has happened in CrackTown, but like most places, it's top secret information, and nobody talks about it. Weird that the OL coach just ups and quits after arguably the biggest win in Herd history. Probably something race related, like everything else these days. The whole thing doesn't make any sense when you watch it though. Herd dominates the line, and runs for over 200 yards, and now can't even manage to score any points against truly bad football teams. Think anybody in WV still wants to hire the Herd coach? Hot coach after one game, and now somebody that couldn't get hired at WV Tech.

The Golden Bears' program was discontinued following the 2011 season. West Virginia Tech is bringing football back to campus. After over a decade without football, West Virginia Tech has decided to bring it back to campus.

West Virginia Tech teams currently compete at the NAIA level in leagues that do not compete in football, so what conference they compete in has yet to be announced.

When they return they obviously will be in the ACC. It's their only hope for wins. They could also schedule Marshall on a yearly basis to be their rival game.

ND is a bad team. They will make a bowl as there are 3 beatable bad teams left on their schedule.

7-0 WVU, nice start. The announcers are awful but I'm long past expecting otherwise. It's tough seeing that sparse a crowd, although since I don't attend games I can't really complain.

ETA: The pass on the play before the TD was behind Prater and thrown hard and Prater still came up with it. Nice catch. Nice running by Mathis on that drive too.

7-3. On the plus drive WVU held them to a FG, on the minus side it was a 70 yard drive.

And yeah, when that punt was fumbled I thought, you gotta be kiddin' me.

It seems like the time to bring Greene in is on 3rd and short so the defense has to worry about two runners.

10-7 Baylor, early 2nd. The D just doesn't have it. I think losing all those DBs to the transfer portal and then losing Woods to an injury in the season opener really hurt. The O has it at times but other times not so much.

At this point I see a 6-6 regular season and a minor bowl win to finish 7-6 as the absolute ceiling and 4-8 as a realistic possibility. I keep waiting for things to come together and it just continues not to happen.

Your faith that WVU wins 4 more games is amazingly optimistic.

LOL, if you had false start on the goal line by Davis on your bingo card, you win. What’s that? Third or 4th time this year?

1st and goal and the 5 and not only do we have to settle for a FG, but we get an illegal procedure at the 1 and burn a timeout in the process. It's just so so so typical that I'm not really even disappointed when it happens anymore.

We gotta get a stop here.

Maybe at halftime he can start cleaning out his office
If Brown keeps fielding a defense that looks like people got pulled out of the stands and thrown into pass coverage, then Lyons ought to have the equipment guys box up all Neal’s **** before this ends
