What age are blue jeans no longer appropriate on men?

Pretty much the coolest person on the planet right now, not that there's much competition.
He wishes he was as cool as Stu Mackenzie!

He's awesome too but I feel like John is the sole visionary for the osees while the gizz gang are a group.

Either way they are the coolest right right now the oh sees and gizzverse. And QOTSA if they'd ever god damn come to Florida again.

Mostly just tweaking the Rick. Both are pretty cool, although I just can't get into most of the Oh Sees catalog.

If we're being real though, it's pretty hard to top Snoop Dogg as coolest person on the planet.

Saw him 6 years ago at the Kravis Center. He had a great band and it was a great show worth the ticket price.

Link me to your (or some of your pierced punk bands trying their best - I assume anyway) recordings of Loan Me A Dime, Lowdown, Lido, Georgia, etc.
Check this perfect song. Listened to this on kitchen duty last night. Where all your hero’s have one foot in the grave or are dead, these boys at the time of the vid were 19

but pop music is popular for a reason, same reason we eat too much sugar.
“Lito, wooo wooo o ooo ooo” lmao

This sounds like a few special needs kids picked up instruments for the first time and said "let's make a band!"

It's not nice to exploit folks like this for your amusement.

My only hero has ever been my Dad. Oh, and Bobby Murcer for a few years. I listen to and watch music for enjoyment. Seems the best commercial music is from the mid 60's to the early 80's from what I can gather. One can disagree with that, but I'm not sure how.

I'm down with the DO double G but he had a mistep recently.

Now, write down the lyrics to that Tonka Toys Boys song you posted earlier ... so far I've gotten ("sung" in the most annoying voice possible) "afillzo asinttowintowintwah lutsblididit I said yourmirrasidsahbitabah"

Seems to me there are few if any Wyoming people responding to this thread. There is no age limit at all for wearing jeans. They're functional, it's not a style thing

the same as this, yes?
Blackbirds - which isn't a top 100 Beatles song imo (and can be played by a child) is better than anything I've ever seen you post. To your credit, I've seen you react positively to good music, but haven't seen you post much of it.

I created a Friday happy hours jukebox - based on stuff we listened to w/ actual quarters at the Skeller. Not an Open Mic Night.

To be fair with British music - I went from Beatles to Stones (esp early 70's) to Supertramp and ELO. You'd be surprised to who I listen to the most now. It ain't the first two. Times change and I get tired of hearing very early Beatles/Stones songs. They tend to all sound the same - like a Herman's Hermits song. That doesn't mean they weren't great songs. All CCR songs sort of sound the same to me too. Listen to more Supertramp and Jeff Lynne.

I expect honesty from my musicians on here.
Ok. I respect your interest in newer music and open mind about experimental music, but I don't think that song is very good.
It lacked some important things for me. A hook, whether it is vocal or instrumental. Strong melodic statements (this isn't necessary at all for me, but it's an element that can make a song good to great), Technical mastery of their instruments or any interesting interplay between the instruments. Interesting harmonic ideas and changes (there is one semi interesting chord change). Lyrics - don't have to have them in a song, but they do and I don't know what they are. Rhythm is very important and that is one thing they had going for them. They seem to be superimposing a 3 feel over 4/4 which always grabs my ear.

And my honest non-biased opinion is that, you may not like them, but the Beatles were a great band. Like any musician/band, they have their share of subpar songs, but the great ones were really great and there are many. They did use all of the elements and more that are listed above, and more. They were gifted songwriters who may not have been virtuosos at their instruments, but sure made them sound interesting.

An honest opinion from a musician with 37 years of experience.
