If we slow Nova's 3pt shooters down, we can win this game. Expect Willard to have a solid defensive approach to slow Budd down a bit. But Sha will be ready and our guys win by four down the stretch. SHU 79- Nova 75.

Knowing Holloway he won't release that until he's forced to right before the game.

And if Hines doesn't play then his comment after the Providence game was to ensure Willard had to game plan for Hines.

Doesnt he realize he must tell us all and tell us asap? this is gonna be like the posts we have read (for decades? lol) when Dan tells us as much as he can and we complain we want it all now.

Want To see the dynamic Staton- McCray. If No Hines, Payne has to be solid not great. Hopefully, Godswill can be incrementally better each game and can contribute a few good minutes. Need another True PG game from Clarke. Defense & the crowd will make the difference.

He has to release it 3 hours before game time per new Big East rules.

Doesn't matter. Seton Hall 74, Villanova 72.

This is an even matchup. I can't see one team sweeping the other. We make our return trip to the Pavillion Feb. 4 on a Wednesday. That should be enough time for the younger players to gain even more experience and their team to get better. But SHU gets their W tonight.

One game and reality is starting to set in?

How disappointing yet expected that playing their first poor game of the year that I am reading so much negativity.

Last night we were beaten by the better team. It happens. The players were not up to the moment and played tight. But you know what, you learn from this and the next time you are in a similar situation you handle the pressure better.

11-2 and now we have 'Pirate' fans already jumping ship.

Embarrassing.
