"DPS troopers tried to stop Kneeland’s vehicle for a traffic violation. Kneeland refused to stop which led to a pursuit, but troopers lost sight of the vehicle. The car was later found abandoned and involved in a crash, and Kneeland was found dead nearby from a self-inflicted gunshot wound, DPS said."
