It's literally every game. Are you going to deny that?Waaaahhhh!!!! Remember that one time when that one guy did that one thing to that other guy? Waaaahhhh!!!! It's not faaaaiiirrrrr.

Show me the damn rule book for being a fan. You're the moron for trying to tell people who they can root for. As a kid in the 70's growing up in Gracey,Ky, Pitt, Cincy, New York, L.A., and China are all the same distance. They might as well be on Mars. How the hell do you morons not understand this? You have to cross 2 state borders to get to pittsburgh and go PAST Cincinnati for 90% of the state population to get there. Cincy is literally 150 yards from kentucky.
On the other hand, the university of kentucky IS IN KENTUCKY.
Maybe if you wanted to make a consistent argument you would say vandy vs. Pitt. But no... You fools have to use a completely invalid argument.
Yes, are you really going to claim it?It's literally every game. Are you going to deny that?
A) I don't even remember Ryan Clark's number and if he cheap shotted anyone the way Burfict does then I have no need for him and no Steeler DB has been worthy of worship in decades except 43, but I'll guarantee you he doesn't have a fraction of the number of cheap shots that Burfict does and that he never intentionally tried to injure players after the play was over as Burfict has on multiple occasions. The point, you failed to grasp, was this wasn't the first time the Steelers have had a coach impact the game which is against the rules. It wasn't the second time the Steelers have had a coach interact with a player to affect the outcome. It was the third. It shows a history of unethical behavior on the coaches parts. It shows the hypocrisy of the fan base who calls Burfict a thug but worshipped Ryan Clark who himself had hits as bad or worse. It proves the above post that this is the Steelers M.O. And that these types of things that happen every game the Steelers play in. To hear you talk, I'm surprised the Steelers leave church long enough to play football, those delightful little choir boys.
Yeah, Tomlin sucks as a coach. What's his record again?appearently, Jason Whitlock was on the herd talking about it being a race thing which is a bit of stretch considering Marvin is black as well. He claims tomlin isn't a very good coach and things like this and trying to trip jacoby jones are overlooked based on tomlin winning and being black
I mean obviously you can't understand.Well thank you for leaving that with us, like we haven't discussed it 100 times before, but I've got time so let's do it again. Was Porter being on the field a violation of the rules---absolutely, no doubt about it. Does this violation of the rules that happens in almost every game ever get penalized -- absolutely not. Had the Bengals themselves violated this rule earlier in the game -- absolutely. Were they penalized for it -- absolutely not. So would it be remotely fair to start throwing flags against the Steelers for a violation that is never penalized even after having let the Bengals slide on it in the previous quarter? Hell no. So there we have that. Porter should not be penalized and anyone who says he should have been is just beyond the reach of logic. Did Jones make contact with an official when the effects of his prozac wore off a few moments later? Absolutely. Is making contact with an official(in a viiolent manner) ALWAYS greeted with a little yellow hanky and a 15 yard trip down the field to think about what you've done? Absolutely. Does it matter what provokes your moronic assault on the zebra? Absolutely not, you will be penalized. I think that about covers it.
Burfict averages 1 unsportsmanlike/personal foul every 2 games. Clark averaged 1 per year. The point, you failed to grasp, was this wasn't the first time the Steelers have had a coach impact the game which is against the rules. Yet, he's sitting at home this weekend with a lighter wallet. How'd that work out for him? Also, if Burfict ends the season for Leveon, Ben, and Brown in the same season, that's worthy of a GD Bengals MVP Award.
Still doesn't make up for #9 10 years ago, but we're closer now...
He was provoking no one, he was standing there talking, everything was calm, then Burfict accidentally smacks him in the face and he barely says two words about that, then he's talking to the refs and Gilberry comes up and shoves him. This is all on the video, deny it if you like.I mean obviously you can't understand.
There's a difference between being on the field and being on the field trying to provoke opposing players.
There's a difference between stepping over the sideline and stepping over the sideline with intent to impede a kick returner.
There's a difference between spearing someone under the facemask with the crown of your helmet when they don't have any clue you're there and throwing a shoulder at someone who ducks into you.
There's a difference between yes and no. Yes means yes and no means no.
But since those rules don't apply to steelers, it's kinda ****ing difficult to expect you to understand.

That comment right there makes you a piece of **** trash. To be happy about a player getting injured is simply sick, I don't care who the player is.

Here's a crystal clear video that shows how much Porter was antagonizing the Bengals. Watch it at the 8:30 mark, Porter and Burfict are standing there talking like two deacons after church, no problems at all. A few seconds later all Pac-man breaks out:I mean obviously you can't understand.

I remember you celebrating this on the old board.
Take your sanctimonious ******** attitude and go root for the Brewers/Dodgers/Steelers/Rams/Whoever you are rooting for these days.

There's a lot of sass in this thread but seriously, all rational football fans should agree that hit was a clear penalty and you got away with one. Why argue this post after post when it is blatantly clear that if you spear a guy with your helmet in the chin with helmet to helmet contact you are going to get flagged?Does he have to be 100% sure? What percentage of certainty does he have to attain before his opinion bears weight for you. He says it was a clean hit, has been saying that since it happened and gee, that's exactly how it was called on the field, exactly how it was seen in the booth and exactly how it was analyzed by the former NFL ref the network hires to advise them on the rules. Man, maybe it was a clean hit.
And the NFL can look at it all they want in the offseason, maybe they want to change the rule, maybe they want to look at the rule that says a forward pass is legal. Doesn't make it any less legal THIS season.
Steeler fans absolutely have the moral high ground after last weekend. That was an embarrassing display by their players and fans. You can bring up examples from whenever but we're talking about today. Hines Ward and Mean Joe Greene have been gone for years. Meanwhile Burfict will likely get a contract extension. It's just pathetic.
They have the moral high ground when you had a coach physically interact with a player on the sidelines and pull his hair? Really? That is something a teenage girl does to another girl. He didn't even have the balls to come straight at him. He pulled his hair from behind. You have the moral ground when a player led with his helmet and speared someone? Burfict does indeed walk a fine line between legal and illegal but even he didn't lead with the helmet. Obviously your moral standards are lower than mine if you think those things were ok. Just another way Steeler fans are like UL fans. I didn't think I could like a fan base any less than UL but I am beginning to reassess that after the BS I've read in this thread from Steeler fans.
This statement is beyond stupid. Since a large percentage of UK fans are also Bengals fans, you are disparaging a whole lot of UK fans when you say that. You are basically saying UK fans = UL fans.Does this really surprise you? This thread has proven time and again that Bengal fans = UL fans. They're the exact same.

You do realize the NFL who routinely fines players for having bad breath on the field have come out and said the Shazier hit was absolutely legal, right? Forgive us if we take the experts' opinions, the refs' on the field opinions, the booth announcers' opinions, the network rules analyst's opinion, the league front office's opinion, my aunt Ruthie's opinion and the text of the rule over yours. You will say anything to justify you team. That is whatYou do realize that rules officials have come out and said the Shazier hit was absolutely illegal, right?
