Why do the Bengals always crap the bed?

About the most hilarious thing about this thread is every time a Bengals fan posts a video purporting to prove how nasty the Steelers were in that game and how innocent the Bengals were, if you run the video back about 10 seconds before where they clip it, it shows how the Bengals either initiated every single issue or nothing happened at all. Munchak --- Bengals caused it, Shazier hit --- clean as a whistle, Brown takeout -- not dirty, but obviously a penalty, Jones meltdown --- Porter did absolutely nothing to cause that. Hilarious.

I will put my UK fandom up against anyone's. Keep referring to me and other Bengals fans as Louisville fans if you want. Quite frankly, you can take that opinion and shove it up your a** lob2Davis. I'm betting I've been a UK fan back before you were out of diapers. I graduated from UK and have bled blue since I could hold a basketball but don't let facts get in the way of your obtuse beliefs.

Well if that 75 next to your name has anything to do with a birthyear (no reason to suspect it either does or doesn't other than how most people use numbers in their screen name) then you'd be losing another one. Regardless, good to know you're that thin-skinned and it's that easy to get into your head. Gee what other fan base around here fits that description?

Boy...this whole thing has gone WAY over your head, hasn't it? Pretty sure no one here actually thinks you're a UL fan. But you sure as hell whine like one.

This statement is beyond stupid. Since a large percentage of UK fans are also Bengals fans, you are disparaging a whole lot of UK fans when you say that. You are basically saying UK fans = UL fans.

I think the point trying to be made is this.
We all (UK fans) can pretty much agree how horrid UL fans are, they are jealous of our history and success, they complain about the refs or an injury or the weather or ... every time we beat their *** (which is most of the time). They consistently call us cheaters, and so on. Well, to most of us Steeler fans, that is what some (probably a minority of them) of the Bengals fans sound like to us. Doesn't mean we think Bengals fans are UL fans.

I understood the point he was making. I just think it's a stupid analogy. If a Bengals fan sounds like that to you, then that same fan will sound the same way when discussing any team he is a fan of when they lose in a controversial way. Do you think those same fans wouldn't say the same things if UK lost in the same way? So in essence, he is comparing UK fans to UL fans since many of the Bengals fans are also UK fans. It's just beyond stupid.

Well, I think Steeler fans are missing the point. If we are doing the UK-UL fan analogy, Steeler fans putting down the Bengals for being dirty would be like UK fans calling UL a bunch of cheaters. Since UK has been on probation MANY times, isnt it a bit hypocritical of calling UL cheaters??? Or are you both a blowhard homer Steeler and UK fan.

Im as big of a UK fan as there is, but I also understand our history of cheating in both major sports, so I wouldnt throw stones there. That is exactly what idiots like Lob2Davis and some others are doing. Chastising the Bengals for being dirty, yet completely ignoring their own history of being the dirtiest franchise of all time along with the Raider. Its hypocritical, ignorant crap.

In the heat of the moment of the play, I called Burrfict a thug, but otherwise I did NOT call the Bengals dirty. I simply was defending my Steelers at all of those saying the Steelers play dirty. I think the refs simply let the game get out of control throughout the game, and both teams were pushing the envelope, with that last hit slinging the envelope off the table. The Pacman stuff has nothing to do w/ the Steelers, in any game in any sport, you touch the ref and you will pay. I thought the Burfict sack of Big Ben was clean.
We (Steeler fans) are mostly defending ourselves (our team), so nothing hypocritical at all.

So it's ok for Steeler fans to defend their team but not ok for Bengal fans to do the same? That is completely hypocritical. Lob2davis defends his team but says Bengal fans = UL fans when we do the same. How can you say that isn't hypocritical?

Who has a lower IQ? Passionate posting NFL fan or obsessed Making a Murderer "hey guys, here' a new angle no one else is talking about..." conspiracy theorist?

Too close to call.

NFL Fan is, besides NASCAR Fan, the reddest, trashiest of all fans- and it's not city-specific either. There's no doubt about that.

I'm curious how you fake fans manage to manufacture such passion. Just comes off as phony to me because it is phony.

By the way- you can taunt me with Bengals sucks stuff all you want. I know my team is terrible. I'm well aware. But AT LEAST they're MY team. I'm not some fake fan who went out and CHOSE the best franchise and then acted like I care.

My feelings toward my team are legit unlike most of you posers.

Antonio Brown ruled OUT for Denver game. But yeah, he faked it. Will that scumbag Pacman apologize?

Did Mike Mitchell apologize for knocking AJ Green out of the playoffs with a helmet to helmet hit at the end of last year? (or for his helmet to helmet hits on Marvin Jones and Tyler Eifert this year)?

Maybe Tomlin can have a couple of assistant coaches goad the Broncos into personal fouls.

The Broncos won't be stupid enough to fall for it, though.

The Steel City choir boys will probably have to resort to breaking a punter's jaw or diving into Manning's knees.

A Steeler's fan calling another team a "thug team" is too much for me. Even in that embarrassing game, the Steelers did just as much stupid dirty **** as the Bengals.

Stay classy? Coming from a fake fan of a franchise whose head coach tried to trip a player during live action, had a coach pull a player's hair AND had a player on the field dogcussing the opposition- that's rich. [laughing]

I won't even get into your players.

The nerve of a a phony bandwagon fan of the Steelers being self-righteous- [laughing]. Screw you.

I never want to see that happen, regardless of who they play for.
A game is not worth that.
JMHO.

Looking forward to the games at hand. Should be some good ones.

Pacman said he would apologize to Brown if it turned out he couldn't play in Denver. That's all I'm referring to.

Look, I can acknowledge that the Steelers have had some dirty players & questionable characters over the years. Harrison was definitely the dirtiest player in the league at one point. Ryan Clark was a headhunter. Mike Mitchell is a headhunter and a terrible football player to boot. I hate him.

But the trio of Jones/Hill/Burfict is honest to god the most despicable group of players I've ever seen on an NFL roster. Burfict is the dirtiest player on the field and Jones and Hill are two of the worst human beings in the entire league. These three players cost the Bengals a game they should have won.

The Bengals and their fans were an embarrassment to the city and the NFL last week and continue to be. It's truly pathetic. No idea how you support those thugs. But after all the BS you're spewing here, I guess it's understandable. If anyone deserves the outcome of the game the other night, it's you.

I'm done with this thread. Looking forward to watching a game without the team's 3 best players, all knocked out of the game because of someone you're defending.

How novel- a Pittsburgh fan from Pittsburgh.

I know you are, too, which I at least respect besides your history of being an awful poster.
Actually Calipari isn't from Pittsburgh, he's from Moon Township, that's a good 12 miles away, probably have to cross two county lines to get to Pittsburgh. I think he's just a bandwagon fan. While we're at it, do you think it'd be okay if Cal roots for Kentucky? I mean he's not from here and all.

Nothing dirty at all about Big Ben or Ball's injuries.

Brown's was an illegal hit to the head by Burfict and it is unfortunate that he won't be able to play. I didn't like it when Steelers have done that to Bengals time after time after time over the years, and I don't like stooping to their level now.

But for any Steelers fan to act holier than thou when your team was just as bad - if not even worse - last week is a damn joke. And you haven't done it for one game or two games, you have done it for decades.

:joy: Why because I refuse to use the cheater card when talking about other universities when the team I root for has been caught cheating numerous times?? Got it. We support them the same way you have supported the Steelers over the years when they have been the dirtiest team in the league. The Steelers have always been the thugs. Ask Keith Rivers. Ask Kevin Huber. Ask Carson Palmer. Ask Tyler Eifert. Ask Kenny Anderson who was almost decapitated by a Steeler years ago. It is quite comical for a Steeler fan to call anyone else a thug. Hello pot. Meet kettle.
