And why do you put Gunther in the Rumble only to have him eliminated by Roman right after Gunther just got over by ending the careers of John Cena and AJ Styles? If WWE is going to do a career ending matchup with Roman facing Gunther then it might a tiny bit of sense,, but it looks like the people in WWE Creative are ******* stupid.

Was it hard to keep track of the women's Rumble? Covered head to toe I would I have thought it difficult to tell who was who.

Bushiroad (company that owns New Japan) has really shi* the bed with New Japan. All the native veterans that have carried the company for years basically hate being there now because of them, hence why nearly all the good ones have left.

Eh, I get it. The greats win multiple Rumbles and Reigns vs Punk will be box office. He doesn't show up often but I don't know what to tell ya if you expect Roman in midcard hell until he retires. Guys like Reigns, Cody, and Punk are tippy top guys. I wouldn't even put Drew there, he's below them. Oba should've been final four but this sets up him vs Brock at Mania or Summerslam.

There are fans online who want Omega at the top of AEW even though he's older and part-time, been around for years, can't go like he used to, and may only have a couple years left. So if you're into that idea then you can't really dog WWE putting Reigns in a WM main event. I don't think Reigns wins but prepare yourselves for down the road. We're likely getting Rock vs Roman next year, for the title, with Roman winning.
Oba vs Brock at Mania.
Then Gunther vs Brock at Summerslam to end his career.

Watching the Rumble live, it looked like Lesnar was genuinely pissed off about his elimination, but he could have just been selling the spot. Then when the camera focused on Brock, as Uso went towards the ring, I thought Lesnar might attack Uso but nothing happened.

Brock no selling Dragunov was the most offensive thing during the men's Rumble match.

Rusev getting eliminated in like 34 seconds was the funniest.

It's not hate on Jey, he is IMO the most popular entertainer they have right now (or at least his entrance is). But the RR is NOT the time to be standing on the ropes with your back to everyone.
I don't even really care enough about Jey to hate on him, it was just such a poorly produced spot to ignore Cody in such a vulnerable position.

It's like throwing the football on the ground before crossing the goal line.

Or blowing a wide open layup on a fastbreak because you wanted to dunk but timed your jump wrong.

No but that’s the match I wanted to see - I wish wwe and AEW would do mixed matches it might freshen things up. Get Ethan page and Chelsea together
That's something you're seeing AEW doing with more frequency. And you can primarily thank Marina Shafir for that. She's basically the one that got the ball rolling with regularly taking bumps from all the guys as a Death Riders member.

They got something that's clicking with Toni Storm and Orange Cassidy now too. There was a quite noticeably loud pop on Collision when it was announced that they would simply be in action, which at this point just about everyone knows that means they are facing an enhancement talent team. So not exactly some match that's going to make you go "Oh got to watch this, this is going to be a banger!"

Ironic coming from someone who was only a star in their head and just eats tv time. I get she’s getting a check bc of Cena alimony but she shouldn’t be speaking on that topic.

I've been hearing arguments off and on about promotions not being able to create new stars since the mid-80s.

Both AEW shows did well last week, as did Impact which had 201,000 viewers. I thought I had read something about Nielsen making some sort of adjustment to how they get the numbers.

Dynamite for tonight from Las Vegas.

AEW Champion MJF vs. Brody King - Eliminator Match.
AEW National Champion Ricochet vs. Jack Perry.
Kenny Omega vs. Andrade El Idolo.
Hangman Page vs. Mark Davis.
The Young Bucks in action.

I don't know about anyone else, but I just tend to watch more wrestling when football season is over. Sounds like other people are the same unless the numbers have been gimmicked again.

So NXT put the men’s title on Joe Hendry.

A year after Ricky Starks joined WWE and was put into NXT because they didn't want to change their road to WM plans to accommodate him, several ex-AEW wrestlers have going stragiht to the WWE main roster during the road to WM season, and now they have Ricky losing to a meme wrestler for the NXT title.

Wonder if people will finally start to admit he just ain't that guy.

Not that AEW will do it, but I’d LOVE to see King as their main champ. Guy just has “it” in the ring and his finishing move looks completely devastating.

Wonder what Smackdown ended up doing. TNA went up but only by about 20-25K, AEW's number skyrocketed. Though I suppose you could say a 25K increase on 175K total from the previous week is a big increase when you look at it in terms of percentage.

Most logical explanation would be a change to data collection and calculation methods at Nielsen.

He'd be a good short term champ like how WWE was going hot potato with the title in the Attitude era. I don't think there's much there for anything more than a month or two but sometimes things just click when it happens so who knows. Like, for example, Timeless Toni Storm. NEver in a million years would I have expected it go as well as that has.

Glad to see someone else talk about how crazy his finisher looks. Probably my favorite finisher in the biz right now.

Yea, and he both makes it look awesome while apparently being pretty damn safe about it. Just a great looking move.

WWE could learn a think or two about your “top guys” having really good looking finishers. That stupid kick Trick uses looks awful and we’re supposed to be believe he’s a future FOC? At least three of your upper mid-card guys use frog splashes? Whatever that leg-drop/kick thing Hayes uses? No thanks.
