Between a 3:15 Dr appointment and subsequent Pharmacy run I listened to most the Jays vs Hall game on my car radio. The 2 student broadcasters doing the play by play and commentary did a great job and kudos to them!

There was a brief technical glitch towards the end of the game, but reception was darn good all things considered.

I may be the only poster on this forum that listened to the game on WSOU. Brings back fond memories of the listening in the past to games broadcast on WSOU.

Lots if memories of SOU.

Last game of my college yrs, first round loss to fairfield in ecac tourney

I am in boston on biz. We are playing a Kittles lead Nova. AG is our star. I give SOU a try and after trying 32 other locations in ny hotel room, I find a place that gets reception, though if I move a little I get static. And, WE WIN!!!

I am listening to our baseball team in the BET. I go into the kitchen and the SOU announcer gets very excited, so I figure we did something good. Nope. It was the other team. But the SOU announcer was a pro and not biased. His name was Fanta.

No offense to those broadcasters, who I’m sure did a fine job. But can’t imagine listening to that broadcast when you have the one with HoF broadcaster Gary Cohen available.
It was not available to me. I had no idea how to listen to him. Plus, I doubt he had the same enthusiasm and exuberance as the SHU student broadcasters. In fact, I am 100% positive!

Where and how is he available . Also I used to be able to listen to Hall Line on my Google home but recently I got no response from my Google home . Anybody have a clue on that .

I listened to both SOU and pros. Started losing reception so switched to app to listen Gary & Popkin. Student crew did decent job.

What app? When I tried the app it said no video even though I hit the listen button. Seems like it wants a subscription to Peacock? Anyway I tried the app on my phone and chromebook and neither worked. Same issue.

On your phone try the Varsity Sports app.

I believe you can also listen on the SHU website.

I use the SHU pirates app, usually when game there is listen button right when you open, play through car sound using Apple Play feature in my car. But you could have volume come out of your phone speakers instead.

Like I said I tried using the SHU pirates app and it would not play and I get an error message saying something about the video even though I hit the listen button. I tried on both the phone and Chromebook and got the exact same issue. NADA worked.
