It’s still a real long shot.
but there is a slim case to be made for an at large bid if you win tomorrow and make it to the BET finals.
you need to get that win tomorrow first for that to be in play.
Go all out to win tomorrow. We play a day before everyone else and don't play again til Thursday. 5 days off.
If you beat St John's, beat Depaul/Creighton and then beat UCONN, I would think you have great chance to get into the field. If you are the committee, UCONN is a 1 seed (or maybe 2 if we beat them) and that SHU played them 3x and beat them once, and lost the other 2 in the final minute. I think that should be enough to get in. When you add the fact that we have 6 road wins and 2 neutral court wins, i would think that is better than the other bubble teams. And with those wins, i would expect out NET to go up too.
If you were my coach and you brought this to me, I would fire you on the spot. For cause.

Imagine losing tomorrow night, getting to the BET finals. losing there and finding out we're the first or second team out.
Not a likely scenario but not completely far fetched.
You only tank a game if you're guaranteed something.
What kind of a question is this? This isn't the pathetic NBA. If you can play, then you play. Simple. They have five full days off after tomorrow's game.
