Coaching is always questionable to you. Mainly because you have no idea how hard it is.I think the team has had a successful year all things considered
I think the team could have won 2 more and under performed relative to changed expectations as the season progressed. All but the qb positions showed marked improvement overall
coaching is still questionable
Coaching was good enough to qualify fo a second bowl appearance in the HC's 4 years back on the job.I think the team has had a successful year all things considered

It’s not a disaster . We are a program that has been in the shi$ter for years ! 6-6 is good for this program. You know this . You are not wrong for wanting more and having a program we can be proud of, but we aren’t there yet.We were at 6-2. If we end up 6-7 it's a disaster finish. Back to the laughing stock of the league. And plenty of the Schiano's haters crap until next season.
This. Having an offense with an offensive mindset. Having a 3rd and 8 and knowing you have a chance of picking it up. Being down 10 and knowing it's not a death sentence.Being able to move the chains, and throw and catch the ball, and play with pace, and attack, on offense.
you think the coaching is good? lol, dumber than you post I seeCoaching is always questionable to you. Mainly because you have no idea how hard it is.
Losing 5 in a row is a disaster to any program. For Rutgers it doesn't show in improvement just another losing season. The bar isn't set just at making a bowl. The bar is set at winning. It’s not a disaster . We are a program that has been in the shi$ter for years ! 6-6 is good for this program. You know this . You are not wrong for wanting more and having a program we can be proud of, but we aren’t there yet.
Nothing is more stupid then repeating **** over and over without looking at everything. You only crap on this program which makes you look like a low IQ jerk.you think the coaching is good? lol, dumber than you post I see

I always find it so strange when OP’s bump their own threads mult times…maybe switch it over to “discuss” every once in a while to just partially annoy people lolBump
Love the defense. Absolutely love Kyle. GW improved as a game manager but can't hit a barn throwing the ball. I don't want to wait until next season. Put Simon or Sheppard in a series or two every game to end the season.except one when the inflexible strategy and passing game weaknesses came into clearer focus.
Many fans are not seeing this- I was not high on this season and had doubts about 2.0 and said it was a show me year. Not with W&L(though, nice) but my eyes needed to believe we can make that jump. It's already a successful season. Rutgers improved the offensive line, rushed effectively and was dominant on defense. They were competitive every single week except one when the inflexible strategy and passing game weaknesses came into clearer focus. Regardless, this season was great for fans and will be even better if they defeat Maryland.
Next season, the passing game, especially the qb position, needs to make a jump. If it is the end of the season and the team still can't pass, I'd consider that a failure (that would be reflected in final record presumably) . Without that ability, I think the ceiling isn't far from where the team is now.
man I don't think you have visited the main board as RUs Iowa game was Ash ess....... Do not underestimate just how bad we lookied to everyone. There isn't a soul alive that thinks Iowa has an offense with a pulse and now Rutgers made them look like OSUI agree it's a bit of a disaster, but it doesn't take us to laughing stock level. Chris Ash achieved that multiple times, so we know exactly how bad that was. However, you are correct in that the haters will have an absolute field day with this.
Agree with all qualitative objectives above, but there needs to be a quantitative objective. For me at the beginning of the season, 6 wins was ace. Now I’m bumping up to 7, be it regular season or bowl. Miss this objective and it wouldn’t be a disaster, but it still clouds the improvement narrative.1. Improvement of on field play
2. A continuation of a positive culture (including academics) in and around the program.
3. The program is a positive contributor to the Rutgers and NJ community.
4. Our Alumni support the program.
Inaccuracy is hard to fix, especially if it is in his head. Ask Chuck Knoblauch. Many fans are not seeing this- I was not high on this season and had doubts about 2.0 and said it was a show me year. Not with W&L(though, nice) but my eyes needed to believe we can make that jump.
This season went past my hopes and expectations. Anyone that says different is full of (well, you know what)
Our defense is elite. We need some more depth. It would kind of be nice to see a guy like Lewis not have to be a 3 down player. The DB room is crazy good. Melton has had a very underrated season and when I see some fans say he has been subpar- WTF football do they watch? We have him on an island almost all the time. I think he may be the most phantom PI flagged DB in CFB too. But he has been shutdown on almost everyone he has faced. The other guys- we have at least 2 that will have a legit shot to make the NFL and there may be more when they get more playing time.
On offense- if anyone does not see the difference at OL- just sit down- and PUNCH yourself very hard in the damn face. Break a few fingers while doing so.
QB- yeah- he is over throwing and he is ummmmm over throwing. Maybe he is the answer and maybe one of the other guys are- but until we have a legit 1 & 2 WR and a TE...we will never know.
For the most part- he is still better and smarter then he was last year. So, if we improved him- maybe if there really is someone more talented, they will be coached off the charts.
For the most part- our team does not have nearly the stars 90% of the B1G has. But, up to now, they have played mult times better then we saw if recent previous years and you can see the momentum forward.
apparently there is a video of no pads and he can't hit open receiversInaccuracy is hard to fix, especially if it is in his head. Ask Chuck Knoblauch.
You seem like the kind of guy that is not much fun to hang out withyou think the coaching is good? lol, dumber than you post I see
they scored 22???man I don't think you have visited the main board as RUs Iowa game was Ash ess....... Do not underestimate just how bad we lookied to everyone. There isn't a soul alive that thinks Iowa has an offense with a pulse and now Rutgers made them look like OSU
This. At 6-6 a Pinstripe win becomes very, very important as far as perception of the season goes. At 7-5 and playing a PAC 10/SEC team the bowl destination is the prize and the win would be gravy. If we go 6-6 & to Pinstripe a Bowl win becomes more important, then playing at 7-5 in Vegas or Nashville
stop, you are far more aware to just see 22 ptsthey scored 22???
