Threat? Or blessing?Zac has been mentioned in some early SMU AD candidate lists.
Does this seem a serious threat?
He has completely screwed up our financial situation so bad that he has to get out somehow. Whoever comes in here after him has a tremendous mess to clean up. All of our cash reserves have been spent. His motto is borrowing money and using leverage. That makes no sense, especially when rates are still highZac has been mentioned in some early SMU AD candidate lists.

I recall his name came up on a job or two last year.
Are we headed toward a annual Mullen - type situation?
He's raised big money and spent big money. Sounds like a solid job to me troll. He has completely screwed up our financial situation so bad that he has to get out somehow. I’ve seen a lot of announcements. But every recruiting or portal windows we never land players with other P2 offers. Something doesn’t add up.He's raised big money and spent big money. Sounds like a solid job to me troll.
I know several around Vegas that would say blessing.Threat? Or blessing?
Lapdawgs do as they are told. Need to unload this guy, I don’t think there is a big demand but he’s looking to get out.Credible sources indicate he interviewed for the job, but our fan site media has denied it.
When you spend more than you raise, and when you deplete your cash reserves, you are operating at a deficit. He's raised big money and spent big money. Sounds like a solid job to me troll.
our media members are too scared to ask questions and also scared to point out what is going on for fear that their media credentials will be pulled. There is a reason why he is interviewing for every single job. He knows that this is about to blow up.When you spend more than you raise, and when you deplete your cash reserves, you are operating at a deficit.
So go ahead and call me a troll
Read my post above. Until we rid ourselves of Keenum, it doesn't matterHow come nobody comes after Keenum?
He is already doing everyone else biddingHow come nobody comes after Keenum?
Every time I've hear Selmon speak to the alumni/fans, I get the impression he is really worried about covering the cost of revenue share.o. He knows that this is about to blow up.
Sounds like we need DOGE to take a look under the hood.I’ve seen a lot of announcements. But every recruiting or portal windows we never land players with other P2 offers. Something doesn’t add up.
We just had a top 25 class and a top 10 portal classI’ve seen a lot of announcements. But every recruiting or portal windows we never land players with other P2 offers. Something doesn’t add up.
Look past the rankings. The portal class especially was a quantity ranking. We just had a top 25 class and a top 10 portal class
You must be drunk or something. Selmon has done little to generate excitement since he got here. He was tone deaf in his interviews. His playbook is limited and he spams the same cliches about money being an issue over and over like a video game. He was brought in and is learning on the job. Once he gets his training wheels off, he will be off to a new job.I’ve never responded to these threads but I must : Selmon has never missed a free throw, or an open 3. Selmon hasnt wiffed on blocks or thrown picks. He hasn’t struck out looking on a ball down the middle nor has he ever over thrown the first baseman, let alone the free passes and hit batsmen.
what he has done, re energized our donations and our place amongst NIL in the hardest, most competitive league in all of college sports. I don’t get the hate, I actually think most are trolls but to put the inconsistency of some of our assets on the AD across all sports, well it’s childish, trollish and frankly ludicrous. Let him cook a few more years. I don’t think people realize the despairing department he took over.
If he is so bad, why is he such a hot topic amongst up and coming money programs? You must be smarter than the money guys. Have you considered applying for the AD job?You must be drunk or something. You know I’ll be in your cabinetI will polish up my resume and list you as a reference
I suspect that he is genuinely worried, but in fairness, I think he’s far from the only AD in that spotEvery time I've hear Selmon speak to the alumni/fans, I get the impression he is really worried about covering the cost of revenue share.
Do we just not have the funds? I have no idea. I'm sure he has a good idea.
