Championship rings are a popular sports memorabilia item which fans covet, making it a valuable asset for any athlete lucky enough to win one. Former Alabama running back Keilan Robinson – now at Texas after transferring – sold his 2020 national championship set to the owners of the store seen on popular television show Pawn Stars, according to a listing on their website.

The set of three Alabama-themed rings are available for $60,000 with pictures posted online proving it belonged to Keilan Robinson through custom engravings with his name, number and signature.

“This is a stunning set of three championship rings from the University of Alabama’s undefeated 2020 football season,” the Pawn Shop states in its listing. “This set of player rings features one for the SEC Championship win over the University of Florida, a Rose Bowl Championship ring for the defeat of Notre Dame and the National Football Championship Ring for the season finale win over Ohio State. Per NCAA student gift regulations these stately rings are made of stainless steel accented with CZ and artificial stones. Each ring is in excellent condition and the set comes complete with a Crimson Tide branded display case.”

Keilan Robinson on Alabama matchup

Current Texas and former Alabama running back Keilan Robinson spoke on a Twitter Space discussion about their marquee game this year before news of his ring sale became public. The former Crimson Tide back knows both locker rooms, and declared that Texas is able to take them down when they face off on Sep. 10.

“Knowing what I know, seeing what I see every day, being here [at Texas] and being there [at Alabama], I know we can beat them boys.”

The Longhorns will host Alabama early this season in one of the most anticipated games of the 2022 college season. While both programs carry tremendous fan support normally, the trash talk between the teams will only increase as the matchup draws closer.
