Missouri offensive lineman Henry Fenuku plans to enter Transfer Portal
Missouri Tigers offensive lineman Henry Fenuku plans to enter the Transfer Portal, On3 has learned. This comes after he spent one season with the Tigers.
Fenuku played his high school football at North Crowley in Fort Worth, Texas. There, he was a four-star recruit in the Class of 2025. He was the 390th-ranked player nationally and the 30th-ranked interior offensive lineman in that recruiting class. On top of that, Genuku was the 53rd-ranked player in the state of Texas.
Coming out of high school, Fenuku had numerous offers. That included Ole Miss, Texas Tech, and SMU, among others.
Missouri went 8-4 overall this past season and 4-4 in SEC play. That included going 3-4 in the months of October and November, losing three of their final four games. All four of those losses also came against teams that finished the season ranked, three of which finished the season in the College Football Playoff.
For head coach Eli Drinkwitz, it was his sixth season with the program. He now has a 46-28 record with the program and a 26-24 record in SEC play during that time.
From here, Missouri will wrap up the season with a trip to the Gator Bowl. There, the Tigers are set to take on the Virginia Cavaliers. That game is scheduled for December 27th.
Changes coming to the Transfer Portal
The Transfer Portal has a new look this offseason. This comes after concerns regarding the December calendar being overly crowded.

The Winter Transfer Portal Window is now the only window that’s going to open for players to enter. The Spring Window no longer exists. So, any player who wants to enter has to do so in the Winter. That window was moved from December to January, though it still needs to work around the standard semester calendar. On top of that, the window was shortened to just 10 days.
This came after the Division I Football Oversight Committee voted to do so. The NCAA Division I Administration Committee initially only approved the move of the window and later approved the decision to shorten it as well.
It remains to be seen how this change in the transfer process actually impacts the portal. Already, however, it appears that transfer declarations are coming in during the month of December, even if they haven’t yet entered officially.
The Transfer Portal is set to open up on January 2nd. Players will have until January 16th to enter the portal.
