Missouri’s slow start to the 2025 recruiting class looks to be in the rearview mirror.

The Tigers have now landed four commitments in the month of April, headlined by elite 2025 quarterback Matt Zollers, the No. 13 overall prospect in the On300 rankings. They’ve also made some major hay on the defensive side of the ball, landing three-star defensive lineman Jason Dowell, four-star linebacker Dante McClellan and three-star edge rusher Joshua Lewis.

The momentum is just beginning, though. Eli Drinkwitz and Co. could be in line for another commitment soon, as the Tigers are now trending in a major way with four-star Eureka (Mo.) offensive tackle Jack Lange.

On Monday, On3’s Steve Wiltfong logged an expert prediction in favor of the Tigers to land Lange in the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine (RPM). That was followed by two more picks in Mizzou’s favor from Notre Dame insiders Kyle Kelly and Mike Singer.

The 6-foot-8, 275-pounder is coming off of a slew of visits over the past six weeks, including trips to Missouri (March 8-9), Ole Miss (March 21), Nebraska (March 24), Michigan (March 30), Notre Dame (April 13) and Wisconsin (April 20).

The in-state Tigers have made him feel like a top priority though, and offensive line coach Brandon Jones has led the way with his recruitment.

Lange is the No. 179 overall prospect in the 2025 class, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He ranks as the nation’s No. 13 offensive tackle and the No. 1 recruit in the Show Me State.

Tigers on top for two more major targets

Drinkwitz and his staff are building a lot of juice on the trail right now, and also look to be in strong contention with two other key targets.

St. Louis (Mo.) Christian Brothers College four-star wide receiver Corey Simms recently narrowed his list of more than 30 offers down to a 12 schools. Arkansas, Georgia, Kansas, LSU, Miami, Michigan, Missouri, Nebraska, Ole Miss, Penn State, Tennessee and USC made the cut, but there’s one team trending in the On3 Recruiting Recruiting Prediction Machine (RPM) as it stands today. And that’s the in-state Tigers.

McKinney (Texas) three-star cornerback Zadian Gentry holds offers from 31 programs. He will be focusing on five of them going forward. Gentry announced BaylorMissouriOklahoma StateSMU and Wisconsin as his top schools earlier this month, and soon after a prediction went in the Tigers’ favor.
