Report: Ohio State hires Brandon Jordan as defensive program assistant
The Ohio State Buckeyes are bringing a new assistant into the program from one of their Big Ten rivals. According to Matt Zenitz, the Buckeyes and head coach Ryan Day are hiring former Michigan State Spartans assistant Brandon Jordan as a defensive program assistant.
“Ohio State has hired Brandon Jordan as a defensive program assistant. Jordan, who has trained several prominent NFL players as a private pass rush trainer, was a pass rush specialist coach for the Seattle Seahawks last season. Was previously an assistant at Michigan State,” said Zenitz via X.

Jordan played at Michigan State during his collegiate career but went undrafted in the 2011 NFL draft. Afterward, he spent time in the Canadian Football League and was a part of the Calgary Stampeders’ 2014 Grey Cup-winning team.
His coaching career started in 2022 when he became a pass rush specialist for his alma mater. The following season, he joined the Seattle Seahawks as a private pass rush specialist.
