Quarterback Caleb Williams rocked the college football world this offseason by entering the NCAA Transfer Portal while at Oklahoma, taking visits to other schools and not rushing his decision. While Williams took plenty of time to weigh his options, he ultimately decided to leave Oklahoma and transfer to USC.

As he’s now living in Los Angeles, reunited with his former head coach in Lincoln Riley and officially a part of the USC Trojans’ football program, Williams is speaking out about his decision to transfer from Oklahoma to USC.

Williams – the former On3 Consensus five-star prospectjoined Good Morning America on Wednesday and was asked what went into his decision to leave Norman for Los Angeles.

“First, about 10 years ago, my dad actually told me to make a list of schools that I wanted to go to,” Williams said. “He said, ‘One, you can’t have ‘Bama on there.’ So, I ended up choosing schools like the West Coast schools out here – and first was USC. … Dreams do come true.

“Next, I had Coach Riley and everybody else that came over from Oklahoma here, and that’s a sense of comfort when you have people like that here that you’ve been around for at least a year and talk to for more years before that.”

After throwing for 1,912 yards, 21 touchdowns and four interceptions and rushing for 442 yards and six more scores in his only season at Oklahoma, Williams is now gearing up for his first year at USC – which is scheduled to begin on Saturday, Sept. 3 against Rice at Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum.

Williams inks major NIL deal, joins men’s grooming company as part owner

Caleb Williams is adding a new title to his resume — investor. The newest member of the USC Trojans is throwing support behind Faculty, a modern grooming brand.

According to Obi Anyanwu of Beauty Inc, Williams is officially a part-owner of the brand. Additionally, the star quarterback will be featured in campaigns, collaborations and revenue partnerships.

Faculty specializes in nail art, which Williams has been vocal in support of. The former Oklahoma quarterback began painting his nails after being inspired by his mother, who is a nail technician.

He’s even used nail art to get into his opponents heads, mocking the Texas Longhorns with a “Horns Down” image on his nails last season.
