We’re six weeks into the season and things are changing rapidly. Here are On3’s SEC women’s basketball power rankings.

1. Texas

Texas remains the team to beat in the SEC after taking down a ranked Baylor team on a neutral court.

2. South Carolina

South Carolina stays steady at No. 2 after a win over Penn State, despite missing a few key pieces to injury.

3. LSU

LSU remains No. 3 after taking down Louisiana Tech at home.

4. Kentucky

Kentucky went on the road and took down a very good mid-major in Belmont.

5. Oklahoma

Oklahoma earned a really solid blowout win over Oklahoma State this week.

6. Tennessee

Tennessee stays steady with a win over Winthrop.

7. Vanderbilt

Vanderbilt had the week off, so they’ll remain at No. 7 this time.

8. Ole Miss

Ole Miss took down Wofford and SC State at home this week.

9. Alabama

Alabama is nearing a Top 25 spot as they remain undefeated with a win over Jackson State.

10. Mississippi State

Mississippi State earned a nice win over Southern Miss and is starting to get rolling after an early loss to Texas Tech.

11. Georgia

Georgia also remains undefeated, but I’m still waiting for them to earn a true resume win this year.

12. Texas A&M

Texas A&M fell to West Virginia, but that was an expected loss.

13. Florida

Florida earned a win over West Georgia this week.

14. Auburn

Auburn now has three consecutive losses to Oregon, Syracuse and Seton Hall. None of these are truly unexpected and they remained fairly close in each.

15. Missouri

Missouri fell to Illinois, but bounced back with a win over Saint Louis. They’re certainly looking better than they did at the beginning of the year.

16. Arkansas

Arkansas actually had a solid week, despite its placement. They earned a solid win at Missouri State.
