1.) I would be pretty surprised if Bailey Bachamp and Luke Sauber (trainer) aren't back. Those folks typically survive changes, have totally earned it and its deserved.
2.) Keep an eye on Belmont assistant Kerron Johnson. Just 35 years old, develops their guards and recruits. Believe it makes a lot of sense he's one of the three guys or so coming over from Belmont despite being a graduate of the school as well. Follows the Kansas State basketball account on IG now.
3.) Might be an outside shot Phil Baier can hang on, too. He was the strength coach under Jerome Tang and is wildly respected in the industry. I believe he would love to stay, loves the heck out of Manhattan and plans to meet with Casey Alexander at some point this week.

Kerron Johnson makes a lot of sense. He already follows K-State MBB on Instagram and Bailey. So, I'd say that one is almost locked in.

Baier being back would seem to be a pivot since his house is listed and under contract already.

Bailey and Luke seem to do a great job. Would hope they could continue that.

Would be great for Bailey, she seems to be really good at her job and she and her family (and in-laws) are obviously deeply rooted in the MHK community.

Another thing to remember is that some of the younger guys at Belmont (Smith, Butler) could come over in non-bench roles, too. You could see a Director of Player Development or something like that.
I'd be surprised if they didn't bring Bryce Haase along for the analytics side of things.

Looks like the three from Belmont are
Smith
Johnson
Butler
Now two outside hires and we are set

Our player-to-boot ratio seemed to trend down from Weber's strength coach to Baier, so I'm all for it. Give him multi-year players on top of that and we probably see noticeable results.

Sellers straight up told them that they would be making no repairs or improvements to the home prior to the sale. Major red flag to me, but not to the family member. So much so that they were already scheduling movers and roping family members into helping them move (how I found out). Inspection happens and the house is basically condemned. It would have been cheaper to knock it down and build something new than to fix. Needless to say, the contract was not finalized.Could always find something wrong during inspections

Peaves said:The more I look at it, I think Butler, Smith, and Johnson come over as the three Asst. Coaches and they look for two experienced P4 guys. Ayers is likely going to stay at Belmont since he's been there forever. He's the longest tenured assistant coach at one school in all of D1. Haase likely comes over as a director of Analytics and Strategy. I'm going to guess we bring in a much more experienced Director of Player Development. I know Carpenter is still on the website. If they keep him, whatever, but I'd rather dump him due to the Baylor ties and go get someone that's much more experienced. Gray hair here feels like a good idea. I think a common structure would be something like this, and I'm including who we think may be identified already: Head Coach - Casey Alexander Asst. HC - Offense - TBD Asst. HC - Defense - TBD Asst. #1 - Kerron Johnson Asst. #2 - Luke Smith Asst. #3 - JJ Butler Chief of Staff/General Manager - TBD Director of Player Development - TBD (I'm assuming they dump Carpenter) Director of Analytics and Strategy - Bryce Haase Director of Recruiting - TBD Director of Basketball Operations - Bailey Bachamp Director of Sports Medicine - Luke Sauber Director of S&C - Phil BaierYeah, I think Flener and Smith will be ops guys.
