Was really impressed how the team regrouped. And really happy to see Pope get that technical and back his team.

Now tied with Bama in 3rd place in SEC team with most quad 1 wins the last two years.

Two huge differences from the Vandy debacle to this game. Coaches did a better job in game preparation and the players put forth effort. This UK team can be as good as they want to be.

Pope has been much better than he gets credit for this season.

I think that’s probably true, at least in this board. It hasn’t been what we wanted, and he has his ownership in roster build, but the injuries, JQ basically an empty suit…he has been better than the credit he has gotten.

Difference is the Duke game was a neutral court and this was against Cal on the road with a packed house. The Duke one was great but tonight was better.

Duke is probably the best win, but beating Cal in Fayetteville, for their white out, may be more satisfying.

I agree and think this team is just now finding itself. Could and notice I typed could be an exciting last part of the season but the announcer pointed out UK has the toughest remaining schedule in the country,

People bitching about Pope during game, coach kept this together. The D was really good Acuff struggled all game to get going.

Only time I was going crazy on pope tonight was the damn Jasper experience in the first half. He needed to be out sooner. Then Malachi was tired in second half and I thought he should have pulled him for a breather. But I think he was trying to get to the under 4. he coached a hell of a game tonight. I would have been tossed.
