I can't for the life of me figure out why Dakich still has any sort of mic in front of him.

The revenge on my mind (and hopefully the players) keeps ramping up.

I’d be willing to bet his son isn’t pleased. I’m betting this game no matter what the spread is!

I mean they did. The same way ISU did this year. And I’m sure Painter was gracious. I’m not sure why this is a big deal. I doubt the team needs any more motivation.

PurdueME90 said:If you take his comments out of context, I guess his son might not be pleased. But Pearl was just accurately describing what happened last year. Then went on to offer a lot of praise for Painter. Purdue players already remember what happened last year, Braden was talking about looking forward to playing Auburn a week or two ago. They already know they got their a$$es kicked last year. A lot of coaches wouldn't have scheduled that game the year after Edey left.I’d be willing to bet his son isn’t pleased. I’m betting this game no matter what the spread is!

He didn't say anything wrong, they were playing against grown men. If you read it in the whole it makes more sense.

Pump this directly into Braden Smith's veins. Angry Smith is the best Smith.
ETA: He wasn't wrong though (and, really, he wasn't even being negative). Hopefully, Iowa State was enough of a bitch slap to motivate this team through April.

For the life of me, I can’t understand why these coaches step away, retire, etc. and are still so thirsty for the limelight and attention.
if you retire, just fucking do exactly that.
I hear more retired coaches on open mics than necessary. Just ease your ass into the next chapter of life guys.

Every one of those guys who have won at a high level thinks they are at the top of their profession and always looking for someone to give them their opportunity to offer their 2 cents. Simply put, if no one was listening they'd go away. For the life of me, I can’t understand why these coaches step away, retire, etc. and are still so thirsty for the limelight and attention. if you retire, just ******* do exactly that. Didn't think so many Purdue fans were eager to come in here and lap up the Bruce Pearl slop.
