Not saying that Taylor is going to flip, but this is why I don't get overly excited about recruiting classes that are 2 years out like everyone was doing this last year. Too many things can and will happen.

Is “throwing money” at the situation going to correct anything long term? When does it stop? Nebraska isn’t going to win a bidding war with Ohio St. Nebraska biggest sales pitch to Trae is that he has been number one priority from day 1. It looks like Trae and his family have been transparent with Nebraska. And they can easily just squash this whole situation by saying thanks but no thanks to Ohio St.

Money talks, but Trae seems to be as in as a kid can get, and so far he’s been a man of his word. His family as well. If he leaves you just as well put a fork in the program. Not because he’s just an absolutely can’t miss, future heisman, and NFL first rounder. I hope he’s all of those things. It’s because we will never compete with schools like tOSU and others that just drop a mint at the door and the money and cache relegate us to irrelevant. This has nothing to do with our coach and our AD. You can only drum up NIL money from those willing to give it. Hopefully he stays and it proves to us and other players his committed, a man of his word, believes in our coaches and mission, and we have the resources to keep players like him committed.
