I cannot believe it has been 30 years since Tom "Paddlehands" Wideman graced the court. Loved that crew. Total "physicality" for the whole game regardless of score. The Buckner dunk in the ACCT is probably my personal favorite single Clemson Tiger Basketball moment of all time .... except maybe one Murray Jarman dunk that still is etched in my memory. (Only the OLD DUDES will remember that one)

This makes me feel old. What might have been if Rick Barnes stuck around.

Would be a tie for me for all time favorite: Tree Rollins and Larry Nance.

Barnes and his players cast a shadow over football from 95-98. It was such fun watching them play. And the talent on the other ACC teams was legendary. It made for some great matchups in Littlejohn.

In fairness, there were Clemson intramural softball teams that cast a shadow over football from 1995-98, but yeah, as a student from 92-98 at CU, I'm forever grateful to Barnes for adding some actual sports excitement during my stay.

Man Boogie was a fabulous player. Little guy played big and was clutch. I still remember havin a dumb class in Tilman Hall when #3 Wake and Tim Duncan came to Littlejohn vs #2 Clemson..wow I am a football guy 1st...but Barnes put a good product on the floor

Damnit @Chris Ard You're making me feel old, which makes my back hurt and my eyes strain. I drank beer with Iker Iturbe and some of these guys in college......and just a couple of weeks ago I saw Tom Wideman's SON play high school baseball. Image

Imagine how good this team would be if we had Demontez Stitt running point.

Not sure that was a great era for uni's. Nolan Richardson R'Backs Team Capris would rate near the bottom for me.
