How naive can you seriously be? What games has the team looked impressive in this year? How many times have we fought tooth and nail with really bad teams?

We are literally 14-3, beat Kansas for the first time in 2 decades, beat Kentucky. Yes I’m frustrated too, we should’ve beat this team. But this fire Hubert after every loss is weak.

JP needs to get some more minutes and some working to do on guarding threes. Hoping we can get it together for Cal.

Those games were months ago. Both would beat us now.

Kansas really low year. Kentucky was missing best 2 players. We are showing 0 signs of progress. Yes we are 14-3 with the easiest schedule I can remember.

The difference is Hubert has been given an insane long leash. Since 2019 the results have been disastorous. Missed tournament. Would have missed again if not COVID. Two first round knockouts. One massive upset as a 1 seed in sweet 16. He had one unlikely and "fluke" run as a 8th seed when Caleb went on a heater. Since then its been nothing compared to the historical standards of this program. On top of that recruiting is not where it used to be in terms of both quanitity of high end talent and depth of talent. I used to see UNC signed with multiple top 25 guys like Duke and others are doing. Yet for 2026 class we are outside of any top 25 dude... bottom line is that this historically bad 6-7 year stretch has eroded the image of UNC basketball that was once top in the nation So my question is, why has Hubert been allowed to wallow and bring this program down from the best to mediocre and been given such a long leash? Yet on the football side of things we have been decades long mediocre and neglected. Yet one bad season and people are so angry and wanting firing. This isnt even a histroically good football oprogram nor does anyone care for it like basketball... And even then recruiitng is going well relatively speaking compared to basketball over the last 6 years (compared to the historical standards of basketball) What is this madness? Make it make sense please

SMH..I understand being disappointed in a loss, but damn do we have to chicken little every loss. It happens, the players and coaches will learn from it and be better next outing. Firing Hubert would do no good at this point.
