From a legal standpoint, could it be announced or at least leaked sooner, but just not be made official until April 1? Otherwise, it's going to be an awkward 11 days.

I dont think the school can say anything till then if they dont want to be on the hook for $5M instead of $3M buyout for Wade. Date of employment certainly cant start till April 1, but pretty sure they cant announce tomorrow "Wade has been hired and is starting April 1" and not be on the hook for $5M instead of just $3M...if they could and get away with only paying $3M in that case thats a poorly constructed buyout clause from NC St's end....lol

That’s a note, not a tidbit. A tidbit would say “sources tell me and shea Dixon that Matt McWoman has been s***canned, General Wade to return”

This is just the pre cursor to it being announced he’s fired tbh. Why say this to then say he’s coming back.

Not sure about agent loopholes; but Wade is supposed to notify NC State in writing of any offers or inquiries of interest from other teams. Someone get those reporters to FOIA the NC State athletic dept. That said, like everything these days; I'm sure everything will be "agent to agent"; and Wade won't be officially be contacted until things are ready to sign.

Forgot about my drop rule with object pronouns, Honestly, I've rarely seen it written that way.

that’s odd the staff is anxious to hear whether or not they’re returning to LSU. After all, according to some the staff was two injuries away from a Cinderella run
