If Hubert goes, those above him should too

if the school gets rid of Hubert, which it looks like it will, the AD and those above him should be fired too. IMO, the main reason we have not had the seasons we have wanted is because of the talent gap we have with other teams. I know that doesn’t apply to the VCU game. But this coaching staff wasn’t given the money to get players until this year. That is a school problem not a Hubert one

Note the AD that hired him and gave him extensions is exiting the job in three months.

Coach’s have a vastly larger impact on fundraising for NIL than the AD does. You want someone fired (who is already planning to retire) for something they don’t control. Our program under performing and lacking talent is on Hubert who by all accounts doesn’t like and isn’t good at fundraising.

what are you talking about? we spent 14m on this roster this year. Bubba didn't tell Hubert to waste 6m of it on Evans/Trimble/Bogavac

It’s not Bubba’s fault that Hubert has been hesitant to embrace NIL and change as a whole. And money comes from donors. IC has documented that Hubert has trouble handling donors. It’s his fault that he didn’t have the money.

The people above him did not lose a 30 point lead to Syracuse and 19 to VCU in the past month. Great guy, terrible in-game coach with bench coaches that sat there and did nothing.

100% not the case. HD is not a good coach.

Not only that, but Bubba isn't really the one that hired Hubert. He didn't think hiring was a great idea from the jump. There were other forces at work in the hiring and you can't fire them because they don't work for the University.

How far up the chain do we go? Governor Stein? God? If God resigns, who takes His place? Do the other two Persons of the Trinity remain or do They necessarily step down as well? I have a lot of questions.

Agreed. Bubba should be let go as AD before his contract ends this summer.

I’ve heard they are planning to posthumously fire Dean Smith so we can stop his coaching tree from staying in control.

Let's fire someone who is leaving in a few months, and has multiple national championships under his leadership for a decision that he didn't even make. Sounds like a great plan.

There's no doubt that Roy Williams had his finger on the scales impacting that search process, but I've never heard Cunningham "didn't think hiring Hubert Davis was a good idea from the outset."

You are definitely right!!! Hubert has not had the financial support from day one that other big name coaches would have received upon hire. Hubert stuck it out with a university that did not support him financially upon hire the way Belichick received support. We are some two faces self-righteous people!!!! It was evident from the beginning but no one talks about this!!!!

Should Roy be asked to stay away too? I mean actually he hired Hubert..and that makes two decisions he made that led to the program being put in a bad place. The first time he changed his mind and stayed at Kansas..Matt Doherty...now this. Hope he stays out of this completely and keeps quiet.
