His actions are such he’s TRYING to get fired. Last night was him quitting on his team and his coaches. And given how unprepared they looked last night I question how well they were prepped. He doesn’t want to go to Houston or Allen Field House because it will further damage his image (or what’s left of it) because he knows they will both be 30+ pt losses and no Big 12 coach is going to go easy on him outside of Drew. How as a player would you show up for him after he said what he said ? When you know you won’t get an offer (supposedly) to come back?
He sabotaged the program last night and is forcing the donors and his one ally, Taylor’s hand. I refuse to believe, as some do, that it was legitimate shame. If you want to go that route than you have another problem. You have a HC with the emotional IQ of the 18-19 year olds he’s coaching and is unfit to lead. I just think he’s more calculated than that based on all the other things he’s done up to this point over the course of his tenure.

Anyone who thinks Tang actually gives a flying fuckery about what is taking place, has their head in the sand. This mf'er is a used car salesman, covered in snake oil, that knows he has the school by the balls with his shitty ass contract. Gene should fire Tang, and the second after that happens, should be shit canned himself for putting the school in this spot with that fucking contract.
