He would have been the first player drafted in the 1st rnd that did not play during the year because of an injury.

Wouldn’t shock me to see him fall past the 3rd round.

Wouldn't shock me to see him not get drafted at al. When you quit on your college team to preserve your draft status, that is a character flaw which is more risk to a franchise than an injury.

Question: because the way the college landscape has gone the last couple years do yall think McCoy would sue ncaa to come back if he doesn't go in say 3 rounds? I know its a dumb question and has never been done, but this is a message board and someone will try it sooner or later. Could McCoy be the first? Talking point. What you got?

lol. NFL teams dont GAF about that anymore. Christian McCaffrey, Caleb Williams, Penix, Joe Alt, Drake Maye, Jahmyr Gibbs, all skipped out on games before they were drafted in the first round. And those are just the ones off the top of my head.

Not sure why yall think he quit on the team … he had acl surgery he wasn’t ready to play maybe could of played last week or two but he’s obviously not at full health needing another knee surgery is only reason he didn’t go in the first

What allegiance should we have to Jermod McCoy? He transferred in as a mercenary, played 1 year, then sat out to preserve his draft stock while we paid him. I will not bash the guy, but the people on here that think we should have blind loyalty to a hired gun that played 12 games for us is crazy.

Parsons and Chase both opted out because of Covid not because of an injury. I should have said did not play their last year because of injury.

These folks are stuck in the 1993 mindset. The lunatic fringe of our fanbase taking victory laps over one of our players not getting drafted speaks for itself.

YOU didn’t pay him anything. What do you expect him to do say “nah, I don’t want your money since I didn’t play”?
