They draft on potential more than production. There’s guys that get drafted in first round every year that didn’t average double digit stats in categories.

What is surprising is how the Mods acted like he was the second coming of Allan Houston. They kept talking about his pure shot. He has a horrible shot even when open. This has nothing to do with him getting stronger. His shot ain't changing.

His hype stems from measurables and potential. He’s quite simply trash at this level against the real completion. Soft as can be. Weak minded. No feel for the game. Of the of the dumb lottery teams will take a flyer on him & hope he develops into something. He really needs at least another year in college. He will get absolutely wrecked in the NBA with where his game currently stands.

I'm not saying we need to stop recruiting 5 stars but you can't give these huge NIL deals to guys who haven't played a minute at the college level.

Didn’t get to watch the game but all I can remember is the mods hyping him up from preseason practice. He clearly isn’t delivering. He could still improve though as he is only a freshman.
