I know he seems like a headache but I would take him. That speed is insane and he gives you a change of pace, home run threat at the position. Also, I could see AK finding ways to use him in the motions and jet passes.

Agreed. In the RB thread, we discussed how we've not had a true 3rd down back in a long-time. Maybe Kejuan Kinner? Anyways, definitely worth a shot and see what happens. I'm sure the leash would be short.

We have enough depth with Willis and Dupree to try this. If he’s cheaper than he was last year I don’t know why you wouldn’t take him. Even if the issues rear their head it’s not like it would be with Kstate last year where they didn’t have multiple guys behind him

I think we have a good culture and support network, if the staff believes they can work with the non football stuff, he is definitely a talented player. In this day and age there is a lot less risk in giving a player a one year try out. Even if it is a longshot he would work out, he has talent, and it would be glorious to see KSU fans fidget as he reaches his potential and becomes a real contributor. As someone else said, he seems like the kind of player OCAK could build some plays around.

I think this is a key. Edwards is to the point where his opportunities will be hit and miss after this go round. He has all the tools to be a game breaker.

I'd take him mostly to watch the ways in which it would break KSU fans. They'd melt down and say the worst things imaginable about the kid.

I’ve almost only heard awful things about his character, but he is so electric, and the stakes are pretty low. He needs us more than we need him, so I would take a flyer on him if he wasn’t too expensive.

I'm definitely in the minority after reading down this thread, but I wouldn't give him the time of day given what we've seen from him at a couple stops. The kid has attitude and quits on his teams. He is what he is at this point and would do the same here. No thanks, wouldn't want him in the locker room.
