I could be mistaken but I believe he was "just" a DB position coach with the Bungles.

Got it. I guess I can’t tell if PGC is an upgrade or downgrade from DB coach, particularly if you’re the DC at a P4 school where your potential natural progression would DC at a higher profile school or HC someplace.
