Trinidad Chambliss

Congrats to Ole Miss, great season. However this Trinidad waiver claim is an absolute joke. He turns 24 years old this summer and wants another year of eligibility because he got his tonsils removed 4 years ago. You can’t make this up. He is the same age as Diego Pavia. JJ McCarthy has been in the NFL two years now and is 22 years old. There are quite a few issues with CFB right now, letting grown a$$ men play the game would rank high.

Chambliss seems like a good kid. I would go pro instead of staying at OM. No way to know who their OC will be or what offense they'll run next year.

I have no idea why hed go back to school it seems like he would be a high draft pick

Never mind the waiver. This drafts QB class is weak. Seems like his best chance to get drafted high would be right now and I think that's ultimately what he will do.

I agree he should go pro, but there is a pretty good way to know their OC will be. Google.

Surely if they have announced it on social media, they have informed the team of who they are hiring as the OC... heck he was even on their sideline last night.

Yes. I think he’ll get good draft grades and go pro. If Ty Simpson got told he was a 1st rounder by every NFL GM, then Trinidad should be as well. The waiver and NIL deal is all a show for portal guys, smart marketing move by them

Does he have a strong arm? I don't really see him make NFL type throws other than his placement. If not a back shoulder or quick fade, It's usually seam routes or scrambling around finding a guy.

If I was as talented as Chambliss, I would be in the draft this year 10 out of 10 times. No way that I would go back to college.

He'll be as old as 25% of the starting QBs in the NFL next year. Make CFB 23U. If you have constant injuries, oh well.

My guess is that Chambliss feels screwed. Probably went to OM on a low NIL deal & didn't get paid. If he goes to the NFL, he doesn't have confidence of where he'd go & run the risk of not getting paid again. OM is the only place he knows what he'd be making.

He will never be a hotter name than right now and it only takes one team to fall in love with you

They hired John David baker a while back as their OC

He'll be mobile in the NFL, but not making defenders look silly like he did to UGA's defensive line, which was much slower than Miami's. Chambliss wasn't really running around very much against Miami. He's very accurate, but I don't see an NFL arm and he's looks too small. Brock Purdy has made it work though.

He's obviously a winner. In a QB class where Ty simpson is a first rounder... he'd be dumb not to enter the draft.
