No. 8 Alabama holds on, takes down No. 14 Missouri
A jam-packed Week 7 slate starts in CoMo. Alabama and Missouri will square off in a key SEC showdown as conference play heats up.
The Crimson Tide head into the matchup fresh off a revenge victory over Vanderbilt last time out at Bryant-Denny Stadium. The Tigers, meanwhile, had a bye in Week 6 following a resounding non-conference in over UMass to stay undefeated on the year.

Dijon Lee intercepts Beau Pribula to seal it

Missouri not going away quietly

Missouri tries fake punt, comes up short

Jam Miller injured on 4th down conversion

Beau Pribula picked off

Kevin Coleman departs with injury
10/11/2025 12:12:12 PMMissouri wide receiver Kevin Coleman went down earlier in the second quarter with an apparent ankle injury, ABC’s Katie George said on the broadcast. He was not in for the previous possession after spending time in the injury tent and on the exercise bike, but returned just before the two-minute timeout.

Ty Simpson finds Isaiah Horton, gives Alabama the lead
10/11/2025 11:49:30 AMOn the first play of the second quarter, Ty Simpson threw his second touchdown of the game. He found Isaiah Horton for the 16-yard score to put Alabama ahead, 14-7, with 14:51 to go in the first half.

Marvin Burks ejected for targeting
10/11/2025 11:35:54 AMAlabama WR Derek Meadows went down in the first quarter after taking a scary hit from Mizzou’s Marvin Burks. The officials threw a flag for targeting on the play and upheld the call after review, meaning he was ejected from the game. Meadows walked off the field after the hit.
Alabama responds, ties it up
10/11/2025 11:22:26 AMAfter avoiding a 3-and-out thanks to an unsportsmanlike conduct penalty on Missouri, Alabama capitalized. The Crimson Tide capped an 11-play, 78-yard drive with a 6-yard touchdown pass from Ty Simpson to Kevin Riley. That made it 7-7 with 6:05 to go in the first quarter.
Mizzou doesn’t waste any time, strikes first
