USC analyst Adrian Klemm has emerged as the prime target to be Alabama’s next offensive line coach, sources tell On3’s Chris Low and me. He’s the former offensive line coach for Oregon and the New England Patriots.

He spent the 2025 season as a defensive analyst with the Trojans. Alabama opted not to bring offensive line coach Chris Kapilovic back for the 2026 season. Kapilovic has spent the past two seasons at Alabama, joining the Crimson Tide after Scott Huff left for the Seattle Seahawks.

Klemm spent 2019 to 2021 as the Pittsburgh Steelers’ offensive line coach before returning to the college game as a major piece of Dan Lanning’s staff. He held the titles of associate head coach and run game coordinator during his time with the Ducks. Klemm accepted a job in February 2023 on Bill Belichick’s staff with the New England Patriots.

Before coaching in the NFL, Klemm produced several all-conference players and NFL draft picks at both UCLA and SMU. He was nationally recognized as a recruiter at both stops. Klemm earned the 2012 Pac-12 Recruiter of the Year recognition. The Los Angeles native played college football at Hawaii and was selected by the New England Patriots in the second round of the 2000 NFL Draft. He won three Super Bowls with New England, where he played for four seasons before spending a year with the Green Bay Packers.

During his time at Oregon, he helped the Ducks land the No. 5 offensive tackle in the nation in Josh Conerly Jr., who was selected in the first round of the 2025 NFL draft.

Klemm stepped away from the Patriots during the 2023 season due to a medical issue. He was then among the group of assistants that did not return to the organization after New England parted ways with Belichick.
