Arkansas' Trevon Brazile flashes middle finger at Texas Tech during postgame scuffle
Saturday afternoon brought a Sweet Sixteen rematch between Arkansas and Texas Tech. Dallas provided the neutral site at the American Airlines Center but there were still plenty of emotions in this one. In fact, they maybe got a little too high once the game ended.
A postgame scuffle broke out near the Arkansas sideline once the buzzer sounded. It’s tough to see exactly who was involved in most of the incident. However, Trevon Brazile did emerge at one point in a video captured by Corey Whitman of The Daily Toreador.
Brazile threw a middle finger at someone, presumably on the Texas Tech side. Teammates were there to hold him back before the moment escalated any further. Thankfully, the two sides headed their separate ways shortly after. You can check out the full scene here.
Going up against a team you faced in the NCAA Tournament not too long ago always brings out a little extra something. Having a good crowd in Dallas certainly helped, with most of the game seeing loud portions. Both teams getting off to a good start this season play a role too.
As for Brazile, he finished with a team-high 24 points on eight of 13 shooting. Four of his five three-point attempts also went through the hoop, the most made by him all season. Arkansas is going to wind up winning a ton of games if Brazile puts up those kinds of numbers.

There is more to his game than just scoring, though. You can mark Brazile down for a double-double thanks to 10 rebounds. Three of those were on the offensive end, part of the 16 total Arkansas secured. Overall, the Razorbacks won the rebounding battle 40-33.
Arkansas, Texas Tech drawing closer to conference play
Not too much separates us from now and nonconference play. Arkansas has just three games remaining before facing SEC opponents, highlighted by playing Houston in Newerk. Texas Tech can say the same thing. But the Red Raiders are going to the world’s most famous arena, Madison Square Garden, for a showdown against Duke.
Everyone knows what kind of grind the Big 12 and SEC can be, respectively. No easy games are going to take place once the calendar turns to 2026, where the real resume-building begins. Arkansas and Texas Tech project to be two of the top teams in college basketball right now, putting on a good show Saturday.
