LSU starting center Braelin Moore sustained a high ankle sprain on his left leg on Saturday night, sources tell the Bengal Tiger’s Shea Dixon and I. He enters the week questionable for Saturday night against Florida.

On the first snap of Saturday’s Louisiana Tech game, the Virginia Tech transfer was rolled on during a run play and went down to the ground. He later returned to the sidelines and took some warm-up snaps in the second quarter, but never returned to the game. After halftime, Moore had changed into street clothes and was wearing a walking boot.

When LSU returns to the practice field this week, sources have said Moore will be evaluated, and a better understanding of his availability against Florida will be gained. The Gators lost on a last-second field goal to USF on Saturday; head coach Billy Napier is now 20-20 in his tenure.

In his first LSU start against Clemson, he played all 70 offensive snaps and was the key piece of an offensive line that limited Clemson to only 1 sack. LSU is starting an entirely new offensive line from the regular-season finale in 2024. Moore earned SEC Offensive Lineman of the Week for his outing.

Sources have also told On3 that LSU tight end Trey’Dez Green did not suffer a season-ending injury on Saturday night. He went down with an injury in the fourth quarter and was seen on the sidelines with crutches and a knee brace. Green, who has two catches for 17 yards and a touchdown in two games, is expected to miss the Florida matchup.

Kickoff Saturday night in Death Valley is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. ET on ABC.
