A quarter of the regular season has come and gone. The Las Vegas oddsmakers are using early results to reformulate their odds across college football. Looking ahead to Week 4, most teams are diving into their conference slates and hoping to avoid the dreaded bad beat.

Week 3 action didn’t provide nearly as much drama as Week 2 did, with none of the top 10 teams losing a game on Saturday. However, Michigan State, which was previously No. 11, was not as lucky. The Vegas oddsmakers set the line at Washington -2.5, and the Spartans did not beat the odds, falling 39-28 to the Pac-12 foe.

Oregon and Texas A&M both beat more highly ranked programs in BYU and Miami, although they came into the battles as the favorites in Vegas. Meanwhile, programs like Arkansas, Florida and Wake Forest struggled failed to hit the spread versus G5 opponents.

The schedule for Week 4 features top-25 battles between Arkansas and Texas A&M, Tennessee and Florida, and Clemson-Wake Forest. While the Aggies and the Vols are the favorites to beat their SEC foes at home, the traveling Clemson Tigers are -7 versus the Demon Deacons.
