The college football regular season is nearly halfway over, and ESPN has once again updated its top 25 power rankings after an action-packed Week 6.

Although the top 10 teams from Week 5’s rankings remain the same, there was plenty of shuffling in the order. The biggest change is that Ohio State moved up to No. 1 ahead of both Georgia (No. 2) and Alabama (No. 3). All three teams won Saturday, though the Crimson Tide only narrowly escaped Texas A&M 24-20.

Additionally, USC leapfrogged Michigan to move up to No. 5, and Ole Miss jumped ahead of Oklahoma State into the No. 8 spot.

Kentucky, which was No. 12 last week, fell out of the rankings entirely after a 24-14 home loss to South Carolina. Notre Dame, which defeated No. 16 BYU and is now on a three-game winning streak, is ranked for the first time since Week 1 at No. 25.
