On July 21, the 12 teams in the Pac-12 will make their way to Las Vegas for the conference’s annual media day. Ahead of the event, the league announced which players will make their way to Resorts World for a full day of press conferences.

Two players from each team will be in attendance, headlined by USC quarterback Caleb Williams. The reigning Heisman Trophy winner and potential No. 1 overall pick will be one of two Trojans players in attendance along with head coach Lincoln Riley. In fact, Williams will be one of seven Pac-12 quarterbacks who will take the podium. Michael Penix Jr. will be there for Washington after finishing ninth in the Heisman voting in 2022, as will Oregon’s Bo Nix and Utah’s Cameron Rising.

Of course, one of the more highly anticipated press conferences will be from Deion Sanders. He’s preparing for his first year as the head coach at Colorado and engineered a major roster turnaround this offseason via the transfer portal. Quarterback Shedeur Sanders and two-way player Travis Hunter — both of whom followed Sanders from Jackson State — will represent Colorado at the podiums.

Pac-12 Media Day will get underway July 21 at 8 a.m. PT/11 a.m. ET. Commissioner George Kliavkoff will kick things off and press conferences will begin at 8:45 a.m. PT/11:45 a.m. ET when Utah coach Kyle Whittingham steps to the podium.

Much like last year, one of the biggest storylines at Pac-12 Media Day will be the league’s upcoming media rights deal. The conference announced plans to start negotiations a year ago in wake of USC and UCLA’s departures to the Big Ten, but a deal hasn’t yet come to fruition. Rumors and reports have swirled for some time, but it’s still unclear what direction the league will go with its next contract.

Pac-12 Media Day will be broadcast on Pac-12 Insider, Pac-12.com and the Pac-12 Now app.
