Illinois State transfer Antonio Reeves names final schools

Illinois State transfer Antonio Reeves tells On3 he’s down to five schools: Kentucky, Oregon, DePaul, Nebraska, and Xavier.
Reeves was also contacted by the likes of Texas Tech, Ohio State, UNC, Alabama, Wisconsin, Xavier, LSU, BYU, Memphis, Missouri, Georgetown, and UConn.
The 6-foot-6 junior guard averaged 20.1 points, 3.5 rebounds, and 1.8 assists last season for the Redbirds.

The Chicago native has visited Nebraska and Kentucky. He’s also considering a visit to Oregon, but a date has not been set.
Kentucky has been the heavy favorite here and Reeves was on commitment watch over the weekend, but an announcement never came.

Chin Coleman’s connection to Chicago is one to keep an eye on, as the UK assistant was the head coach for the Mac Irvin Fire (Nike EYBL) from 2005-11. Reeves played at Chicago’s Simeon High School as a three-star recruit before spending his first three college seasons with the Redbirds.
