In-state DL Malik Brooks has committed to USC

Downey (Calif.) St. Pius X defensive lineman Malik Brooks has committed to USC.
”USC felt like home to me,” Brooks told On3. The atmosphere, the coaching staff the facilities just was a perfect vibe for me made me feel like I was back home in Georgia.
“I’m excited to play at USC. It’s somewhere my dad wanted to be and now that I’m gonna be going there is amazing, ready to get to work!”
The 6-foot-5, 312-pound Brooks was back on campus Saturday for spring practice where he gave Lincoln Riley his pledge. Future position coach Eric Henderson was the lead recruiter.
Brooks has been on the Trojans campus a couple times this year.
”Great people, great traditions just a great program all around,” Brooks said. “What’s most exciting about the opportunity to play at USC is being able to play for a great coaching staff.”
