Across 10 games this season, Marshall boasts 871 rushing yards and 10 touchdowns on 143 carries. In Haynes’ absence, the Cincinnati native has emerged as one of the strongest backs in all of college football. He has hit the 100-plus rush yard mark in four consecutive games, and rushed for multiple touchdowns in back-to-back games.
In four games as Michigan‘s RB1, Marshall has rushed for 570 yards and seven touchdowns. His presence is much needed for a Wolverines program that still has a path to the College Football Playoff. They certainly control their own destiny, as their final two games are against Maryland and No. 1 Ohio State, who they’ve beaten four consecutive seasons.
