Kentucky lands a commitment from one of the Midwest's best tight ends

Port Huron (Mich.) High tight end Lincoln Watkins committed to Kentucky on Saturday.
“These coaches are nothing like I have experienced before,” Watkins said. “The culture is unmatched.”
Watkins chose to play for head coach Mark Stoops and the Wildcats over Florida and Indiana among others.
The On3 Industry tabs Watkins as the nation’s No. 31 tight end. He becomes pledge No. 8 for the Wildcats in the 2026 class.
Watkins is a two-way standout on the prep level. He turned 39 receptions into 668 yards with another 39 rushes for 245 yards and 17 total touchdowns. He racked up 42 tackles on defense.
Watkins have over 30 offers total and also strongly considered NC State.
