Kyle Flood brings in another top-100 offensive lineman in John Turntine
Over the past few years, the Texas offensive line has featured a number of top-100 prospects brought to the 40 Acres by Steve Sarkisian and Kyle Flood. As some of those players either phase out to the NFL or enter their final years of eligibility, Flood has sought to replace them with more highly-ranked prospects.

In 2026 Fort Worth (Texas) North Crowley offensive tackle John Turntine, Flood has now added his fifth offensive lineman ranked in the top 100 of the Industry Ranking. Turntine is the first top-100 O-line addition since Texas landed Brandon Baker in the class of 2024.
Turntine is ranked as the No. 43 overall prospect, the No. 2 interior offensive lineman, and the No. 4 player in Texas in the Industry Ranking. On3 ranks Turntine as the No. 63 overall prospect, the No. 4 interior offensive lineman, and the No. 9 player in Texas.
Every major recruiting network ranks Turntine in the top 65 of their rankings.
