Las Vegas releases opening odds for first round of March Madness

The teams are seeded, the bracket is set and the odds are out. NCAA March Madness gets underway on Tuesday with the First Four games in Dayton, Ohio. First-round action officially begins on Thursday, March 17, which is also St. Patrick’s Day.

Following trends can help you pick the best teams to come out on top in your NCAA tournament bracket, but you could also use the latest Las Vegas odds to determine your favorites to win it all. Check out the opening lines for the first round of tournament action, courtesy of Vegas Insider.

There are currently 11 first-round games with a spread under 3 points. There were ten combined in each of the last two tournaments, according to ESPN’s Chris Fallica.
