Ohio State transfer WR Kojo Antwi signs with Colorado State

Ohio State transfer WR Kojo Antwi signed with Colorado State, On3’s Pete Nakos has learned. He entered the transfer portal Dec. 9.
Antwi spent three seasons at Ohio State, appearing in 11 total games across that span. His lone career reception came this past year – an eight-yarder against Western Michigan. By preserving a redshirt in 2023, he will have two years of eligibility remaining as he makes his way to Colorado State.
Antwi played high school football at Suwanee (Ga.) Lambert, where he was a three-star prospect. He was the No. 191 overall player from the 2022 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.

Kojo Antwi is one of 11 players to transfer out of Ohio State after the transfer portal window opened. Of course, the Buckeyes will have another period of time for portal entries after the national championship. They defeated Tennessee, Oregon and Texas to advance to the title game Jan. 20, where they’ll take on Notre Dame at Mercedes-Benz Stadium.
Ohio State also has six transfers coming in, led by former Purdue tight end Max Klare – the No. 18 overall player to hit the portal so far this cycle, according to the On3 Industry Transfer Rankings. Rice offensive lineman Ethan Onianwa and former West Virginia running back CJ Donaldson are also making their way to Columbus as the No. 56 and No. 87 overall player, respectively, to enter the transfer portal.
The transfer portal window officially closed earlier this month, but Ohio State and Notre Dame players will have an extended period of time to enter, if they choose to do so. According to NCAA rules, their window will open until Jan. 25 to file their paperwork to transfer.
