Oregon lands its QB in the 2026 class in four-star Bryson Beaver

Murrieta (Calif.) Vista Murrieta four-star quarterback Bryson Beaver tells On3 he has committed to Oregon.
Beaver chose the Ducks over opportunities from Alabama, LSU and Ole Miss. He is a former Boise State commit that reopened his process earlier this month.
Ducks offensive coordinator Will Stein led the charge in recruiting the 6-foot-3, 195-pound Beaver who made it to campus over the weekend. He becomes commit No. 10 for head coach Dan Lanning and the defending Big Ten Champs in the 2026 class.
“I’d say just obviously the opportunity to play for two of the top coaches in the nation,” Beaver said. “Hearing them and the way they believe in me and the plans they have, I can’t wait to go out and do great things for them.”
Oregon landing a prolific passer
Beaver had an outstanding junior season where he completed over 66 percent of his passes for 3,214 yards and 33 touchdowns. He had just six interceptions and added 411 yards rushing and six more scores.
Beaver also sports a 3.8 GPA and was one of the top performers over the weekend at the Elite 11 Finals. The Ducks checked all the boxes he was looking for in a school.

“The opportunity they have and the fit,” Beaver said. “I feel like me and Coach Stein clicked immediately as soon as we met each other. The fit and development aspect of that, they’re going to develop me into a really good quarterback and I’m excited to work with them.”
Beaver earned his offer from after throwing well in front of them at the Redlands camp this month and after a whirlwind couple weeks which also included stops in Oxford and Tuscaloosa he’s in the fold.
“Coach Lanning and Coach Stein and all the other coaches they have in there, they’re people players want to play for and they’re a big team builder guys and I feel the chemistry there with all the players and coaches.”
On3’s Director of Scouting Charles Power loves the pickup
Power gave Beaver high praise following the Elite 11 Finals.
“Cemented his status as the fastest-rising quarterback in the 2026 cycle. The 6-foot-3, 195-pounder was easily one of the top few arm talents at the Elite 11 Finals. He flashed arguably the strongest arm of all finalists during drill work in Day 1 and made a handful of the more impressive throws we saw in his pro day workout on Day 2. Beaver capped things off with perhaps the best 7-on-7 sessions on Thursday, hitting 19 of 26 passes for five touchdowns, in impressive fashion. Beaver has an explosive, pliable arm and showcased a deep bag of throws throughout the week. The one-time Boise State commit has seen his recruitment take off in recent weeks and firmly planted his name on the national radar with his showing at the Elite 11 Finals.”
