Wisconsin entered this game against Nebraska needing a spark to get into the postseason. While the Badgers have won three of their last five games, they still sit at 5-5 on the season, needing one more win to reach a bowl game.
The Badgers are currently riding with Jim Leonhard as the interim head coach. Wisconsin fired Paul Chryst in early October following a 34-10 loss to Illinois. The Badgers are 3-2 in the interim with Leonhard leading the charge.
