The Friends of Wilbur and Wilma is a NIL collective formed in Feb. 2022 that supports the creation and development of NIL business opportunities for all student-athletes of Arizona’s 21 athletic programs. Founded by loyal Wildcat supporters Cole Davis and Humberto Lopez, Friends of Wilbur and Wilma will utilize Blueprint Sports technology to learn more about supporting Arizona student-athletes NIL opportunities and connect with them. Friends of Wilbur & Wilma will initially focus on the Arizona football program while building momentum to support the Wildcat women’s basketball, softball and baseball programs. The collective also has the support of the Andre Agassi Foundation for Education. “I'm a big believer in empowering our next wave of athletes,” said Agassi, an eight-time grand slam tennis champion. “It's incredible to see and support this technology. And I know that University of Arizona student-athletes will benefit greatly from this newly organized support.”
