Alabama quarterback Ty Simpson made sure to take care of his teammates this week. He gifted the Crimson Tide players custom Yeti coolers.

Alabama Football’s social media accounts captured the moment Simpson told his teammates about the gifts. Video also showed the players thanking their quarterback for the coolers and water bottles. Simpson has a $2.3 million On3 NIL Valuation.

“Keep it going. Got a lot of ball left,” Simpson told the team in the huddle. “But me and Yeti collab’d and got everybody customized Yeti coolers.”

Repped by QB Reps, Simpson has also landed partnerships with EA SportsRaising Cane’s, Hollister, Panini America and Topps. He also signed notable partnerships with Gatorade and Hugo Boss, and he joined forces with the Alabama-focused NIL collective, Yea Alabama, as part of the Crimson Tide Outdoors program.

Simpson has been impressive through his first season as Alabama’s starting quarterback and has helped lead the Crimson Tide to a five-game winning streak. He is completing 70.9% of his passes for 1,678 yards and an SEC-leading 16 touchdowns, to just one interception, through six games.

As a result, Simpson’s On3 NIL Valuation has increased 59% over the last 10 weeks. At $2.3 million, he sits No. 13 in the college football NIL rankings. He also comes in at No. 15 in the On3 NIL 100, the first of its kind and defacto NIL ranking of the top 100 high school and college athletes ranked by their On3 NIL Valuation.

Simpson is also generating some early buzz in NFL Draft circles. ESPN’s Mel Kiper Jr. listed him at No. 16 on his initial Big Board, but Dan Orlovsky had even more high praise for the Alabama star. Orlovsky sees high potential based on the first few weeks of the season.

“I see a first-round pick, and I see a Top-10 pick,” Orlovsky said on SportsCenter this week. “No one is throwing it better than Ty Simpson right now. Just if you watch a guy throw the ball, the throws that he is making in tight windows and the confidence that he is displaying. We didn’t know much about Ty Simpson coming into this season. I have been so impressed with his aggression down the field.

“The playmaking, the athleticism is there at plenty to be a first-round pick. But his willingness to place balls into very small windows and very tight coverage confidently – and with the right pace and trajectory and placement. Throwing it, he is the best in the country right now.”
